Shakespeare Programme®
An integrated English Language and Humanities Programme for high ability preschoolers
Children with advanced intellectual development beyond their years typically have uncharacteristic interests and abilities well before formal education begins. These precocious learners, armed with a rich bank of vocabulary, may possess an insatiable appetite for learning beyond the classroom and therefore, crave for educational resources that are challenging and intensive.
Our Shakespeare Programme® sets out to invest in the realization of our children’s potentials by allowing them to conduct an in-depth study in the various fields of humanities amidst a nurturing learning environment and be engaged in meaningful discussions of interesting and appropriate current affairs.
Our Shakespeare Programme® successfully integrates English language and introductory Humanities (Philosophy, Sociology, Arts, Literature, History and Geography) to produce a structured, values-infused curriculum tailored for our young learners.
English Language Component
The English Language Component consists of four core modules to positively challenge our advanced learners.
- Accelerated Vocabulary and Grammar
- Writing and representing skills – Accelerated writing tasks to challenge our advanced learners
- Verbal general ability – further develop our children’s verbal intelligence through structured training on verbal analogy, verbal reasoning and classification skills
- Critical reasoning skills and Reading Comprehension
A. Close Strategies
B. Literature Study: Award winning literature selected to nurture the love of reading
Humanities Component
In our enrichment module, we focus on nurturing our students’ critical thinking and reasoning skills through a rigorous curriculum of intensive reading, analysis of articles and passages and application of critical reading strategies to challenging and interesting articles. Our students will hone their skills in vocabulary, comprehension (MCQ and open-ended) and comprehension cloze.
Einstein Programme®
An integrated Mathematics and Science Programme for high ability preschoolers
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.
The important thing is not to stop questioning.
– Albert Einstein
The understanding of Mathematics and Science for our young learners has evolved from simple manipulation of numbers and theories to developing an affinity with number patterns and structures.
We believe in harnessing our children’s investigative potential to question mathematical and scientific theories and subsequently, find creative and flexible methods to recognize, analyze, evaluate and predict information at hand.
Our signature Einstein Programme® is designed to cultivate necessary investigative and reasoning skills that are crucial building blocks for the continual appreciation for Mathematics and Science. Our investigation based curricula provide hands-on, investigation-based activities that help children understand important mathematical concepts. Different methods and approaches are identified in every lesson.
We are committed to developing inquisitive learners who are critical thinkers and keen observers.
Mathematics Component
The Mathematics Component consists of three main modules to positively challenging our advanced learners.
- Core math module: Based on MOE syllabus with in-depth approach and subject acceleration)
- Some examples: Number sense, Model Drawing, Unit based questions
- Enrichment module: Systematic pedagogy in the teaching of critical thinking skills which enable children to solve complex, higher order thinking math problems by using the appropriate investigative approach coupled with reasoning skills learned in class.
- Some examples of the mathematical reasoning concepts covered in our enrichment module are: 2D /3D Figures, Invisible cubes, Algebraic Balance Reasoning, Reversal method, Excess and shortage problems, Possibilities
- General ability module: further develop children’s non-verbal intelligence by giving structured training on fluid reasoning, spatial and visual reasoning ability.
- Some examples of the general ability concepts covered are: Spatial reasoning, Analytical reasoning, Deductive Reasoning, Inference, Classification, Analogies, Sequence and patterns Our investigation based curricula provide hands-on, investigation-based activities that help children understand important mathematical concepts. Different methods and approaches are identified in every lesson.
Science Component
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.
The important thing is not to stop questioning.
Our critical thinking skills based Science components provide hands-on, discovery-based, research-oriented activities that cross-curricular. This set of curricula are based on conceptual themes. Research proves that conceptual learning helps bridge the disciplines requiring higher-order thinking, which in turn leads to meaningful understanding.
Some examples of the science concepts covered are:
- Physics: Machines, Wheels, Gears
- Chemistry: Milk, Volcano, Food
- Life: Blood, Bone, Life Cycle, Body
- Biology: seed, trees, insects, dinosaur, bugs
- Nature and space: space, astronaut, planets, wave
Express Reading Programme®
An accelerated, coding skills based, results driven reading programme

English Oral & Public Speaking (Preschool to Grade 1)
Communication Skills & Leadership Training
An integral part of our mission is to enable our students to possess both academic and important life skills that will give our young and future leaders a winning edge.
Our practical and creative curriculums in public speaking will prepare the students for ceremonial and impromptu presentations, effective negotiation skills and to become future “TED Talk” presenters. Such trainings are very useful towards meeting the new requirements of the oral examination format, project presentation, interviews for Direct School Admission (DSA), university and scholarship applications and sometimes “once in a lifetime opportunity”.
Students and parents will be invited to our “CEO Forum for Future Leaders” scheduled in November every year. Our students will take leadership position to host, lead a panel discussion or conduct joint presentations with CEOs of listed companies and prominent corporate leaders to improve their confidence and competence of public speaking.
We will also share the shift in emphasis and format by MOE on the oral examination and DSA interview requirements. The focus of the Teenage Programme for both lower and upper secondary students will be to prepare them to ace their school as well as national oral examinations. It is critical for students to be aware of major current affair issues, understand their impacts and possess the communication skills to be able to express their opinions and perspectives fluently.
Our academic panel and trainers have very strong corporate experience and credentials, several of whom are successful entrepreneurs and experienced corporate leaders. Our creative and comprehensive curriculum will prepare the students for the following:
- Ceremonial and impromptu presentations
- Negotiation skills
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Executive summary and feedback skills
- Managing a group discussion
Important Applications of Communication Skills
While we have been taught that the “pen is mightier than the sword”, we would like our students to know that a mouth can be mightier than the pen. Our students will discover how they can actually “win with words” in both their academic and social life by applying what they have learnt.
Academic Benefits Life Skills
• Oral Exam • Hosting an important family event
• Project presentation • Making speech on an important occasion
• Leadership opportunities • Moving out of a difficult situation
• Interviews (DSA, Scholarships) • Making that important elevator pitch
Awards & Certifications
As part of our collaboration with Trinity College, London, our students can enroll for the graded examinations from Foundation (Grades 1-3), Intermediate (Grades 4-5) and Advanced (Grades 6-8) and be finally awarded the Professional Certificates in communication skills. Our integrated courses will prepare them adequately in the following sections:
- Presentation skills
- Speaking in public
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Executive summary and feedback skills
- Managing a group discussion
