Junior Creative English Writing Camp (P1&P2)

Learning Objectives:

Equips lower-primary students with planning and descriptive-writing strategies for school writing examinations and essay competitions. Students will learn to craft interesting story plots and replace mundane vocabulary with creative and descriptive phrases.

Fees: $480 per camp per week; Early Bird: $450 per camp per week

Junior Olympiad Math and Science Camp (P1-P2)

Learning Objectives:

Develops critical thinking skills to prepare children for future Olympiad math and science competitions and high ability tests. The camp focuses on problem-solving skills and includes a strong combination of both IQ Math and Science components to engage children in a holistic learning environment.

Public Speaking Camp (P1-P2)

Learning Objectives:

A good leader can identify potential conflicts and resolve them creatively and amicably. This camp equips our young learner with practical strategies to handle difficult situations and skills to resolve conflicts.

Identify feelings and needs behind conflicts
Generate creative solutions for resolving conflicts cooperatively
Master active listening skills (eg. foundational paraphrasing and summarizing skills)
Be able to de-escalate situations
Be more confident and assertive
Be able to demonstrate leadership qualities

P1 Head Start – English & Math Camp

Learning Objectives:

Equips students with exceptional English and Mathematics foundation skillsets to excel in the first year of formal school. This camp focuses on the understanding of various comprehension strategies, application of grammatical rules and exposure to a good set of vocabulary through current affairs. In addition, this camp will also guide students through techniques to solve challenging word problems and expose students to key problem-solving tools like model drawing and “guess and check” method.

GEP-Math & GA Camp (P3)

Learning Objectives:

Develops critical thinking skills and prepare children for P3 GEP Math, English and General Ability tests. The camp will cover key mathematical reasoning concepts such as classification skills, sequencing, spatial reasoning & abstract visual reasoning. Students will hone their reading skills in challenging comprehension texts and cloze passages. This intensive camp also aims to expose students to a good range of Math & English general ability questions.

Senior Creative English Writing Camp (P3 - P5)

Learning Objectives:

Prepares students for essay competitions and PSLE composition examination. Students will learn how to develop their own unique yet realistic storylines and use advanced writing techniques to craft out descriptive essays.

Public Speaking Camp(P3-P5)

Learning Objectives:

This highly-interactive communication skill camp equips our learners with impactful conversational skills. These exceptional interview skills will empower them to be effective leaders.

Identify good and poor listening skills
Master active listening skills (Paraphrasing, summarizing, clarifying, encouraging, listening for feelings)
Understanding empathy, reframing and de-escalation
Handle difficult conversations and practice positive confrontational techniques
Understand types of questioning and practice effective questioning

DSA Interview Camp

Learning Objectives:

Prepares students for the Direct School Admission (DSA) Interviews. They will be exposed to scenarios that they may encounter during the interview sessions. This will instill confidence in them to face any challenging interview questions.

Overview of topics:

Crafting the answers to routine and non-routine interview questions (a list of questions will be provided)
How to create impression and impact
Crisis management during DSA Interview
Interview techniques
Rehearsal, Rehearsal, and Rehearsal (simulated panel interviews)

PSLE Math Camp (P6)

Learning Objectives:

Prepares students for optimal performance in the PSLE Math paper. The camp will expose students to complex Math components to develop their critical thinking skills and students will be equipped with strategies to tackle more challenging questions.

DSA Science Camp (P6)

Learning Objectives:

Students will be exposed to DSA science topics such as periodic table, astrophysics, atom structure, gene technology etc ranging from biology, physics to chemistry. This camp will help students get ready for science competitions and DSA science subject test.

PSLE English & Oral Camp (P6)

Learning Objectives:

This intensive camp focuses on preparing students for the PSLE English paper 2 based on common mistakes made in the grammar, vocabulary and editing sections. This camp will also equip students with strategies to tackle the different kinds of questions in the open-ended comprehension section.

This camp will also prepare students for stimulus-based conversation and oral reading based on PSLE English Oral Examination format. Students will learn powerful techniques to develop valid opinions and deliver accurate responses to the examiner.
